Canvas Project Prayer Ministry Lifts Off
Jesus says in Matthew 22:37-39 - "Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind...and love your neighbor as yourself"
At the Gallery, prayer is one way that we can express that love for God and for each other. It is all about relationships. With that in mind we are starting the Canvas Project Prayer Ministry.
The goal of the Canvas Project is to connect prayers with pray-ers. Each week we will collect prayers from those inside and outside of our community and deliver them to our pray-er ministry team. The prayer ministry team members commit to spending a half hour in prayer each week - lifting the community prayer requests and praises to God with expectant hearts that God will begin an amazing painting according to His plans for each individual and the world.
If you have a prayer request - there are many ways to make these requests (see above) and know that a committed team is praying with and for you.
If you want to join our prayer ministry, please sign up. I signed up to be part of a prayer ministry seven years ago in my previous church in California and I will never be the same and I am so thankful to God. My prayer for all current and future prayer team members is that you will be blessed and moved and your relationship with God and others will grow deeply.
I leave you this week with Paul's prayer for the Ephesians:
Ephesians 3:16-21 - "I pray that out of His glorious riches He may strengthen you with power through His Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith. And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power, together with all the Lord's holy people, to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge - that you may be filled with the measure of all the fullness of God. Now to Him who is able to do immeasureably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us, to Him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations for ever and ever! Amen."
